Expiring Users
When a user leaves the organization, you'll need to expire them in the LMS. You can also reactivate them.

Expiring Users
When a user is leaving the organization, you will want to expire the user in the LMS to lock them out of the system. To expire a user, complete the following steps:
- Navigate to the User Summary
- Click on the text box and type the user’s name, email, external ID, or username.
- Click on the Search button. The screen will display results that match the search.
- Click on the Actions icon next to the user. A drop-down list will appear.
- Select Edit Profile.
- Scroll down and click on the End Date field. A calendar will appear. Select the date and time you want the user to expire.
- Click on the Save button. An X will appear next to the user’s profile indicating that the user is expired.
To confirm the user is expired, navigate back to the User Summary and complete the following steps:
- Click on All Filters to open the filter options.
- Click on Expired to view all expired users.
- Click on the Apply Filters button. The user summary will display all expired users.
Re-activate an Expired User
To re-activate an expired user, complete the following steps:
- From the User Summary, click on the Actions icon next to the user.
- Select Edit Profile.
- Clear the End Date by clicking the X in the End Date field.
- Click on the Save button.
Return to the User Summary to confirm the user is active again.
